Speed Control of Three Phase Induction Motor using PI Controller with Space Vector Width Modulation (SVPWM) Technique

This article aimed to design and simulated the speed control of a three-phase induction motor using PI controller with Space Vector Pulse width modulation technique. The used in this is was designed at Electrical Energy Conversion Laboratory, Riau University, power 1.1 kW, 380 V, 2-pole. Meanwhile, constants designing were determined Fine Tunning method obtain KP KI values 3.539 9.526, respectively. tests carried out by running simulations three conditions, namely no load, full variable load 2800 rpm. test results showed that use can improve response motors eliminating steady state error. addition increasing rise time 0.012s 0.046s respectively, when analysis same value. It also accelerate reach peak 0.247 s 0.166s load. In addition, SPVWM maintain setting even though there change during operation, which be verified testing.
